"View Source" doesn't work - it's not the Temp files!

I'm using the latest version of Explorer on XP Pro. For whatever reason, I cannot view the source of a page, either by right clicking the page, then view source, or by the view/source menu...

I've read numerous articles about clearing out the temp files...I've done this...I've cleared out the offline temp files as well, the history, etc...no luck...

Does anyone have any suggestions? I would be very appreciative if someone could share the fix....

Thanks!
Dave

Could be an issue with Notepad or shortcuts. See this link for more details:

It turned out to be that there was a shortcut to notepad on my desktop...

I solved the problem by copying notepad.exe to my desktop instead of the shortcut (I need it on my desktop for programming, etc)

Thanks for the reply!
