Hi all. My word 2003 is missing some 'toolbars' and i can't work out how to
get them back. Actually, its not tool bars, but the scroll bar on the left is
missing, and on the bottom is the left/right scroll, but not that other line
of things normally with that. I have searched through the view menu but cant
find a solution. I just want it back to standard. Cheers.

Well, it seems you have a big problem with terminology, more than
anything else.

The "line of things" at the bottom is called the status bar. There's
an item in the Tools > Options > View dialog with that name. Click it
to put a check mark next to it, and the bar will appear.

Word has never had a vertical scroll bar on the left side, unless you
set it up with a right-to-left language (Hebrew, Arabic, etc.). If you
don't see a vertical scroll bar on the *right*, check that option in
the Tools > Options > View dialog.

And for the missing item at the left, check the box for "Vertical ruler."
