view is landscape vs portrait

Help! My daughter accidently did something (that of
course she can't remember how)to change the view from
portrait/vertical to landscape/horizontal. In other
words, or words I really understand, I have to tilt my
head to a 90 in order to read the screen.

Does anyone know how to change it back?

Thank you.

Depending on the type of video card, there are settings in the Display
Manager which control to rotation of display.

Control Panel ---> Display ---> Setting ---> Advanced ---> ????

I have a Nvidia video card and this function is in it's
properties. I can't say for all video cards but give this
a try. Right click on your desktop then click properties
then the settings tab-advanced button down the bottom and
then beside Colour Management you should see your video
card. Click that tab then for mine it shows NV Rotate if
you click the little green tab to the left of the main
window to open the options. I then click that and you can
set your desktop to whatever you like. Although most
everyone has it set to 0 rotation. Hope this helps. Keep
smiling.

Probably hit a "short-cut" key specific to your video card which rotates
the screen. See the manual which came with the device for details.

If you wish to avoid reading the manual, go to Control Panel/Display,
Tab: Settings and from here it's vendor specific. Look for settings
(under the Advanced button?) that will rotate the view.

Control Panel ---> Appearance and Themes ---> Display --
Setting ---> Advanced button ---> Device Selection tab --
-> Device Adjustment tab. You can change the screen in
to four different directions.

Thank you. My 13 yr old finally resolved the issus. She
did a right click, left click on graphics, left click
graphic properties and the rotation info appeared.

Thanks again.
