view drawing guides on powerpoint 2007

In POwerpoint 2003 you could view guides on your slides, movable lines so you
could line elements up from slide to slide. In 2007 all i can seem to do is
view the rules and gridlines - where is the command to show the drawing guide
lines?

Right click an empty part of your slide. On the menu you should find Grids
