Grids and Guides

Hi,

I am busy making a drawing in Powerpoint. I once saw a friend using a
guide....which he could move as he wanted. This worked very nice...as it
makes it possible to put different things exactly on the same horizontal or
vertical line.

I tried to use: View > Grid and Guides ... > v Display drawing guides on the
screen.

I then get a horizontal line...but I cant move it around. On the internet I
read I need to put the mouse on the line and then press control to move
it....but that doesn't work unfortunately...

Can someone tell me how to get the guides...and how to move them around...?

Thanks!
Marieke

move your mouse pointer to the guide line that is just off the slide area,
click the guideline and hold down the left button, then move your mouse to
where you want the guideline to be.

Then let go of the button.

If you hold down the CTRL key while dragging, powerpoint will copy the
guideline...

cheers
