View/Change Email Accounts - Add/Remove Exchange Mailboxes

We run Outlook 2003 w/Exchange 2003.

We give supervisors rights to add their employees' mailboxes to their
Outlook profile using Tools + EMail Accounts + View/Change Existing +
Exchange Properties + Advanced + Add these optional mailboxes.

However, when removing those mailboxes they often stay in the Outlook
profile. If the supervisor tries to right-click close the mailbox, they get
an error that they must use Tools+EMail Accounts. However, the mailbox has
already been removed in the Exchange Advanced settings.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

it should drop off the folder list as soon as it's removed and you exit the
dialog. Is it gone if you restart outlook? if not, the profile is corrupt
and the best fix is making a new profile.

Yeah, re-creating the profile seems to be the general consensus as the
answer. Just seems buggy; something that MS should fix. Too much admin.
effort to keep re-creating profiles!
