I have frontpage 2000 with the 2003 upgrade and I am working on a PC. I am trying to add a streaming videos (I have an avi file and the same is available to me on quicktime. I also have a realplayer file I would like to use) to a website. I have followed the directions on the help screens and all I get is a blank box. I tried doing a windows media plug in, but this too failed to show the video in either preview or the browser
I am a beginner and I need step by step instructions in plain english. Please Help! I am very frusterated that I cannot make this work despite my best efforts (and following the directions!)

well, i saved it into frontpage, is that what you mean? I have it on my desktop, and I uploaded it into the page (like I would with photos, and those always work).

Publish the pages and see if the video plays in the
browser, not in FP itself.

inside your web you have different folders like a folder titled IMAGES for example.

What I mean is you have to upload the movie file into the

same folder as the page you are trying to displyay it on.

if you have the movie file in the IMAGES folder (for

example), then the page you are trying to display it on
needs to be in the IMAGES folder also.
