Video Won't Play

Hi there,
I'm trying to insert a video into my webpage. I follow the correct steps to
insert the video file ("AVI" file type) into my webpage using Frontpage.
When I preview my webpage in the browser the video doesn't play, it just
shows up as a blank box. Could someone please advise me on what I'm
missing/doing wrong and how I can get the video to play? Thanks!

how big is it?
