Help or advice:
I have a 2.95 MB project file and I'm trying to save it to
a .wmv file -- "best quality playback for my computer."
The saving process completes, however, the video gets hung-
up and doesn't complete. When I watch the saved file, the
video stops and I'm left with just audio to the end of the
movie. I've tried over and over and the video hangs at
different parts of the project -- sometimes a clip and
sometimes an image.
I then tried to save to an AVI file which will complete
successfully with all of my video, audio, transitions,
etc. The problem with this is my movie plays back very
shaky. After spending some time at papajohn.org I
realized that my video needs to be deinterlaced. I'm
currently at a loss at to what direction I should move
in. Perhaps I'm trying to do much more than MM2 is
allowing me to do? Invest in Adobe Premiere Pro? Any
advice or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks
to all for your time.
PC Info:
Sony Vaio RS520
1.5 GB of RAM
P4 3.0 GHz
160 GB 7200 hard drive
(2 partitions on 1 drive)
(project, source files, and temp directory are on my D:
partition which is 120 GB in size)
