Video to PC?

Sam

Hi, I've been trying to record video to my PC from my video player but with
little success. I am using the Radion 9800 All-in-wonder card connected from
the video in
socket to the scart output of my video player which I'm told should work. I
use Nerovision Express
to capture the video but in the preview screen there is just a snowy picture
and no audio.
I've tried Windows XP movie maker with the same results.
Does anyone know where I'm going wrong or have some usefull suggestions

Many Thanks

Sam

I thought the Ati TV option was just for viewing TV and not capturing video.
OK got that working and done some capturing. How do I convert
'Composite.vcr' into
files so I can burn to DVD and view on any player?

Thanks

Use the MMC library function to convert from .vcr to MPEG.

Also, check out <http://www.dvdrhelp.com>, <http://www.rage3d.com> and

Hi, I used the MMC library function to convert from .vcr to MPEG and have a
file that is 5.8Gig in size which won't fit on a DVD. Is there any way I can
compress that file a bit more?
In the past I have backed up my DVD movies and have ended up with files on
my PC to copy to blank DVD's with the extension of .VOB, .IFO and .BUP. If
the total ammount exceeded 4.7Gig I used a program to squash them up then
burn to DVD.Is it possible to convert a MPEG to these files.
Just guessing now!

Many thanks for your input

You'll have to re-render the file at lower resolution. Whatever program
you're using for DVD authoring should be able to produce the appropriate
files.
