Video Sound Problems!

I Have just downloaded windows media player 11 and i am having trouble.
I have downloaded some movies and i am able to watch them but unable to hear
them!!!!
I am loosing my patience so any help would be greatly appreciate!
 
Then go to the Media Player newsgroup for help.
