I want to buy/play "Civilizations III" and the requirements
are...Video:DirectX 8.0a-compatible video card.(must be able to display @
1024 x 768) and...Sound:DirectX 8.0a-compatible sound card. I looked up my
information and this is what it says...Video...Radeon X300SE 128 Mb Hyper
Memory. And Sound...2 cards...one says SigmaTel High Definition Audio CODEC
and the other Microsoft UnimodemHalf-duplex Audio Device. Can I play this
game, or is this even enough information for you to say? If not, how can I
found out more accurately what my system has?

Hi its_a_plan_stan,

To find out more accurately what your system has use this utility:
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html#ggviewer-offsite-nav-9056144

This chart will indicate which DX version/generation your video card is:
http://www.pcvsconsole.com/features/video/

The Radeon X300 Pro or SE are DX 9 generation video cards. :)
