Video problems when trying to play different video streams

I'm having a problem with playing video on my HP Pavillion
750N. Have Media 9 installed. InterwinDVD, Roxio Plat
6.0. Realplay Quicktime.

When I play a DVD with Media Player or with InterwinDVD,
Reatime streaming video, or quicktime, The image flickers
as though I'm watching a very fast series of still
images. Oddly enough the video I've down downloaded from
my digital video camera and saved to a cd plays
correctly. I spent 2.5 hours with HP customer support and
without solving the problem. Went through the knowlege
base without finding anything that solved the problem.
Anyone out there with any ideas?

Had the same problem. Uninstalled the NVIDEA driver update and reinstalled
the original.
Worked for me.
