I had to use my Recovery Console because a file from System32 got deleted.
When i eventually got back into windows i checked my display, its using the
default monitor. VGA COMPATIBLE?
I have nVidia but that got deleted, i also tryed update driver from device
manager but it never worked its so frustrating.
Everytime i move a window its oh so slow and annoying
can anyone help?

Go to the website of the manufacturer of your mainboard and download the
drivers for that model mainboard, then reinstall the drivers. If the video is
a PCI-E or AGP add in card, download the driver for it from the cardmaker's
website. Reinstall the driver. Once the video driver is reinstalled, adjust
the video resolution to match the native resolution of your monitor.

Please don't delete relevant earlier posts. It makes things harder to
follow. First post copied below:

1. What makes you think you had nVidia and that it got deleted?
2. What file from System32 was deleted and where did you get the
replacement from?
3. What make and model computer do you have, and if you know, what make
and model video card do you have?
4. What "thing" did you download from the nVidia site and what exactly
did it report?

Go here: http://www.packardbell.com/support.htm
Pick your country or click the global support link, enter your serial
number, and follow the links to "product downloads" and "drivers" for
"video component."

Thomas, you should be able to go to the Nvidia website and download a
GeForce200 driver for XP. If the Nvidia website says there isn't one for XP,
then you should go to Packard-Bell's website and download the XP video driver
for your model computer. Make sure you get the chipset, audio, LAN and any
other drivers for your machine as well. Google "Driver Detective" to find a
"detective" that you can install and it will tell you what drivers you need
for a fee. I have also found such programs notorious for recommending the
wrong or outdated drivers, so beware. Honestly, your best bet is with
Packard-Bell.
