O
oo Mike oo
Not sure if I'm dealing with a hardware or software problem here. Have
had problems with Roxio installer, errors moving files, and have
recently used System Restore to go back to a point in time when my
network connection would work properly (laptop could no longer see
this desktop PC) Now on boot up I get the following warning message:
The ATI Control Panel failed to initialize because no ATI driver is
installed, or ATI driver is not working properly. The ATI Control
Panel will now exit.
I only have 3 resolutions to choose from under the display Control
panel. The Power options no longer have hibernate or standby.
Under Adapter properties it has VgaSave, Device type: Non-Plug and
Play Drivers, Manufacturer: Unknown, Location Unknown.
Any thought on where to begin fixing this, I was sooo pleased with
this computer until this recent bunch of problems started popping up.
Some system specs: Athlon64 3200+, ABIT KV8 Pro M.B., ASUS Radeon
R9200SE/T/128M TV R video card.
Thanks!
