Hi, when i do video on windows live the cam is fine but voice is rubbish, it
echos so i hear the person like 3 times, they hear me perfect. I had no
issues with this on my old comp which was xp. Im wondering if its worth me
changing my sound card? Or if it maybe a Vista/Windows live issue. I use this
everyday so is a major issue, any advice greatly appreciated! Thanks

The speakers and microphone must be set up properly on both ends of the
connection.

If the person at the other end has his own voice coming back out of his
speakers, that will be picked up by his microphone and come out of his
speakers again, and it will happen again, and again etc.

You should both run through the audio/video tuning wizard and be certain
that you have made the correct choices as far as echo cancellation etc. is
concerned. As far as the volume from the speakers and the microphone, you
turn it up just enough, using the sliding controls in the tuning wizard so
that it works. Many people think more is better.
