Video not showing up during power on self test / boot

Hi All,

I've just upgraded my video card from a Geforce MX 440 64MB to a Geforce
6200 256 MB. Things seem to be OK but I've noticed that before upgrading the
MX 440 would be mentioned during the boot but the 6200 isn't. Is this normal
or is there something to check ?

I should also mention that the PC freezes some times. May this be coming
from the video card or the memory that I upgraded to 1 gigabytes (corsair vs
matched pair).

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Download a memory tester and run it. Check CPU temp.

Probably neither. People love to replace video cards without considering
the power requirements. There's a good possibility that your power supply
can't handle the extra current draw. -Dave
