video nightmare please help

ive created a movie and edited it to my satisfaction when it comes to
finishing it and saving it no matter what it only saves 2minutes 10 seconds
of the movie. i dont understand why the movie should be 6 minutes in length?
anyone help????????????????????????????

What type of files are you using....?
How much space is left on your hard drive ?
