I am having an issue where I am unable to view links directly to video files
(e.g. http://internetsite/movie.mpg). I receive an error stating "cannot
find server" almost immediately. However, I can right-click and "Save
target as..." and successfully retrieve the video file, which I can then
launch and watch..
I have no issues with streaming media. At one point, this was not an issue.
I have tried disabling my firewall (WinXP) and a few other things.

Any Ideas? Thanks!

http://internetsite/movie.mpg is a dead link. The problem
exists with the website itself.

Should have been more specific. That URL was just an example. Any site or
page that provides links directly to an audio file fail. Thanks
