video full screen

whenever i play videos it will not go to full screen, it
still shows the play/pause buttons etc. i clicked on the
autohide button but it won't work and i'm stuck with an
annoying taskbar when i'm trying to watch a DVD, how do I
fix it?

Have a look in View|Full Mode Options ->
