Video drivers fail to install - HELP!!!

I just installed a Radeon 9600 Pro video card in my Dell
Dimension 4550 running Windows XP.
For some reason the drivers on the cd that came with the
card, or the newest drivers that I downloaded from ATI's
website wont install.

I keep getting an error message stating:

"Setup failed to run installation (0x80040707)"

Currently the only driver installed is called "VGA Save".

I need help badly ASAP!!

Hi,

Could be a corrupt download, you might try another copy of it. Also, clear
the temp folders and disable AV before trying to install it. Make sure you
get both:

C:\Windows\temp
C:\Documents and settings\<username>\local settings\temp
