Hi i recently formatted my windows xp and now when im scrolling on the
internet it's going in waves, ive been into the Contol panel, System Hardware
and found that my VGA driver is not installed, i tried the reinstall driver
button but it just says the hardware was not installed because the wizard
cannot find the necessary software. Anybody know what to do? Any help very
much appreciated Thanks.

Firstly find out what Graphics card you have installed, if you do not know
then download and run Belarc Advisor from the following link.

Link : http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

When you know what graphics card you have installed, visit the manufacturers
site and download the drivers and install them.

If you need more help then post a reply.

Anything else not working in Device Manager?

Chances are you are missing the chipset drivers for your board. Do you
know what mainboard you have? If not, try this tool to find out:

'PCWizard' (http://www.cpuid.org/pcwizard.php)[image:

I am having the very same problem. I also have a ATI video card and have
already downloaded the driver from the very website you have posted here. The
file appeared to install but when I go into the System Devices panel, it
shows an exclamation mark and says there is no video driver installed. I am
pretty sure that I have the proper driver. My computer tech already knows all
of the parts and their brands in my pc and he was the one who gave me the
proper website to download the proper file so I am sure it is correct.
Unfornately my computer guy is unavailable right now and very busy too so I
am trying to figure out on my own what the problem is. When I installed the
file, I installed it to my c:/ drive. Was this correct? What have done wrong?
