video driver failed to intialize, windows XP

My son downloaded a video game from the web. The next day the computer would
not boot, even in the safe mode! Tried to install drivers with a CD but the
computer is locked out and does not reconize the drive. The error states to
remove any new hardware or software in BIOS but I can not find a way around
the stoppage. The error reads "video driver failed to intialize, STOP:
0X000000B4, 0X830E0BE8 0X83104000 0X830DF000 0X00050000. I was able to copy
my hard drive files to a slave drive to try and save pictures etc. A similar
event happened in the first year of the Dell computer and the mother board
was replaced due to a recall. This computer is 4 years old. Any help would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks
