Video Conversation will not start

Every time I try to initiate a video conversation,
Messenger tells me it is connecting to the other computer
and then it says the Video Conversation has ended. Any
ideas?

This simply means that you were not available to establish a direct connection between you
and your contact.

Before I write a 60,000 word essay on every possible reason why this wouldn't work, could you
provide a few more details.

For instance, are you or your contact using any type of router or internet sharing
software/device or software firewall?
