That motherboard has three different video connectors in the I/O area.
Any connectors in this photo, are controlled by the motherboard directly.

http://www.scan.co.uk/Images/Products/974024-b.jpg

So there is a video controller in the Northbridge chip (780G)
of the motherboard. That could be what the driver request is
for.

If you're not using that build-in video, but have already
installed a separate video card and video card driver, then
you don't need the 780G output. If your monitor cable is
plugged into one of the three connectors, then you're using
the 780G, and could use a driver for the 780G, so you
can get full functionality.

There is a motherboard manual here.

ftp://download.gigabyte.ru/manual/motherboard_manual_ga-ma78gm-us2h_e.pdf

So what you do now, depends on what video you're using. You could
be using one of those three connectors. You could be using a separate
video card.

PDF page 44 of the manual, has an option for

"Internal Graphics Mode" [Disable]

but you'd only do that *if* you were absolutely certain you
were using a separate, plugged in video card. If you make
a mistake, you might have to "clear CMOS", which means losing
your BIOs settings, and having to re-enter any custom BIOS values.

You can also disable devices from the Device Manager, such that
they stop asking for drivers.

Basically, the idea is, you don't want to disable anything
you're currently using. If that request for a driver, is
actually driving your current video screen, then you should
be providing a driver for the video. The CD that came in the
motherboard box, likely has a driver for the 780G. Page 57
of the manual, shows the menu from the driver CD, that
may contain a video driver for the 780G. (The video driver is
not shown in that picture, but it may be in the actual list.)

You should also be able to get a video driver from ATI, starting
at ati.amd.com . The download will likely be huge, and should
include the driver and control panel software that comes on
your motherboard CD.

http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx

According to this, 780G = "HD 3200". So that is the flavor
of download you'd be looking for, something for HD 3200.

Have fun,
Paul

"Basically, the idea is, you don't want to disable anything
you're currently using."

And that is exactly what you did.

So at least now we know

1) You don't have a separate video card.
2) You were plugged into one of the three connectors on the back
of the computer, in the I/O plate area.
3) You did not finish the computer build, by installing the
780G/HD 3200 driver from the motherboard CD.

To recover, now you need to reset the BIOS. This is a
step backwards for you.

See page 33 of the downloadable manual. These are the steps.
(There is a picture on page 33 as well, showing the two pins
in question labeled "CLR_CMOS". They're between the two PCI
slots, and 1/3rd of the way from the right hand end of the PCI slot.)

* Always turn off your computer and *unplug the power cord*
from the power outlet before clearing the CMOS values.
Don't forget! Unplug the power cord!

* After clearing the CMOS values and before turning on your
computer, be sure to remove the jumper cap from the pins.
Failure to do so may cause damage to the motherboard.

* After system restart, go to BIOS Setup to load factory
defaults (select Load Optimized Defaults) or manually configure
the BIOS settings (refer to Chapter 2, "BIOS Setup," for BIOS
configurations).

In step two, it refers to a "jumper cap". The two pins with the
label CLR_CMOS need to be electrically shorted together to
clear the CMOS. The motherboard box may have had a small baggie
with a jumper plug inside. If you've lost it, or if no jumper
plug is available, then *carefully* position the blade of a
slot screwdriver between the pins, such that there is electrical
contact through the screwdriver blade. Hold it there for about
ten seconds.

You want to remove that electrical short, between the two CLR_CMOS
pins, before you plug the power cord back in. The pins should be
free of any cap or short, before you reapply power.

If you then plug in the power cord, and the screen is still black,
it could be you didn't make contact for long enough. Repeat
the procedure a second time, if that happens (unplug the computer!).
If it still doesn't work (still black screen), on your third try,
you can remove the CR2032 coin cell battery from its socket, then
apply the short to CLR_CMOS, then remove the CLR_CMOS short, then
reinstall the CR2032 battery ( same orientation as it had
originally ), then plug in the power again and see if the
BIOS screen is visible.

What will happen, when you clear the CMOS using a jumper plug,
is the BIOS settings will be erased. You will need to re-enter
any BIOS settings, which differ from the original BIOS default values.
Only a few of those settings are critical to get right. For example,
if WinXP was installed with an AHCI driver, then preferably, you would set
up the disk interface so it used AHCI mode again. While some of the
modes the BIOS would use, would be handled by WinXP without complaint,
if there is a mismatch between how the BIOS was setup when WinXP was
installed, and how it is now, you may end up seeing this. If
this happens, enter the BIOS again, and try another storage option
for the disk interface. Modes would be things like "IDE", "AHCI", "RAID".

0x0000007B: INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE

If Windows boots without a problem, and you have graphics again, then
now would be a good time to place the motherboard CD in the drive,
and install the graphics driver on the CD. That should stop the
OS from asking for a graphics driver. And give you options to
get the screen to higher resolution and so on.

If any of this isn't clear, post back.

HTH,
Paul
