Video Conferencing behind LinkSys Router/Firewall

I cannot hold a video conference using MSN Messenger
V6.2, and it's probably because I am behind a LinkSys
BEFSR41 V3 router/firewall. Do I need to forward certain
ports? And if so, which ports (TCP/UDP)?
BTW, I can video conference using EyeBallChat software
behind the same router/firewall without any problem. In
either situation, I do not have Microsoft's ICF enabled
on my XP home edition system. Who knows the answer to my
problem?

I have that exact router and I can use voice with just UPnP
enabled in the router. Video-conferencing and audio are
related. Can you have an audio chat? No ports are forwarded.
Video-conferncing and using webcam have different functionality,
video-conferencing requires UPnP.

I've never tried video-conferencing so cannot answer the
question exactly. I suspect that you do no have audio working.
Your post didn't mention you having downloaded the latest
firmware for your router and enabling UPnP under Administration
in the router setup.
