Does anyone know if you can embed video clips on to a

Does anyone know if you can embed video clips on to a
powerpoint presentation?. (office 97)

If you Insert, Movies And Sounds, video clips will always be linked (this is
true of all versions of PPT, not just 97)

If you Insert, Object, Create From File, then the video will be embedded as an
object, and will play in Media Player or whatever application is registered to
"own" that file type on the system that's playing the PPT.

You get an embedded video but you have less control over what it looks like
when it plays back.
