Video Card Stopped Working

The video card I'm using is an EVGA GeForce 7600 GS (the 512 MB one) and
after installing one of the driver updates recently, it just won't display
anything on the moniter. I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit and I
tried uninstalling the drivers and the video card will start working on the
first startup but when Windows installs the drivers again for the video card,
the screen will just be black and say that no connection is found after the
restart. Right now I just switched over to an older video card that I had
lying around.

If you are referring to a driver update that you got from MS then I strongly
suggest that you get the latest driver from the NVIDIA WebSite instead.
Several users have reported problems recently with NVIDIA driver updates
received from Win Update.
