I just installed a new video card GeForce Fx 5200, but its not being detected
by Windows, In its place it displays a SVGA I have tried to reload the
display drivers and nothing seems to work. Any suggestions or ideas would be

The old video card - built into the motherboard? If so, did you disable it
in the BIOS?

Also, disable any anti-virus before updating drivers. At least it used to
be that way with Nvidia?

It didn't have an intergrated video card. I went into BIOS and changed the
video from VGA to AGP. But Windows XP is not recognizing the card. I tried
to manually add the drivers and when I went to have disk the menu is empty.

Please provide more detail.
It's an AGP card, correct?
What was in the AGP slot before?
What kind of PC and/or motherboard?
If there's no integrated video card, why did you change anything in bios
when installing the Nvidia?

I will try to help.
