Unable to view video from a canon ZR80 digital camera
using IEEE 1394 firewire, on my computer. I have a Dell
Latitude C810, OS Windows 2000. The camera came with no
software, it say just connect it and the system will pick
it up. I think I need some kind of vide capture software
that is not included with Win 2000. What is the software
I need and where can I get it

You should have gotten something with the firewire card, but try SCLive
http://scenalyzer.com/ and see if that works for you.
