Video Capture problems

I've recently bought a DV Camcorder. I've installed a
firewire card which XP says it can see & is working OK.
When I try to capture anything I get a message
saying "camcorder not connected" or "capture driver
midssing".

Any ideas?
 
Hey even I am getting the same error...But i am conencting CAnon CAmcorder..

Please help me out if U got any solution.
