Very slow logging on and logging off

Hello,

Suddenly my XP is taking enormous time (>1min) to log on and log off. I have
tried disabling most services and startup programs but the problem seems to
persist. I also created another user account and tried logging in through
that but the problem seem to persist.

Can anybody help me?
