Hi,
I have dsl connection with xp
when I use IE6 I the pages load very very slowly.
I tried removing spyware, check for virsus/// but it stays
the same.
I Have installed NETSCAPE and in NETSCAPE my pages load
fast and fine, so it's not a problem with my connection.
I have this problem since I installed some updates from the
microsoft site concering msblast.
I tried to reinstal IE but it didnt help.
I want to use IE,
Anybody can help?

I am having the same problem with extremely slow loading
time. Reinstalling IE didn't help & running the XP system
file checker did nothing. I recently switched to Mozilla
Firebird as my default brouser, & was thinking that maybe
that had something to do with it. Another possible cause is
that I recently set up & then removed various user
profiles, & while doing so I may have inadvertently
disrupted some file. If you resolve your problem, please
e-mail me your solution.

kman,
The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).

You may need to clear your TIF as you may have a corrupt file there.

Close all instances of OE and IE
Control Panel | Internet Options | General tab
Click the "Delete Files" button, when prompted place a check in:
"Delete all offline content", click OK
Click the "Clear History" button, click OK.
Click the Settings button, adjust the TIF size to 50 mb, click OK
