Very odd problem, programs say to log on w/admin access, but i have it

When i try to run the games Devastation and The Sims (two
different developers), i get an Access Denied error
asking me to "Please login with administrator privileges
and try again." The account i use has administrator
privileges, and i've even tried in safe mode under
Administrator to not only check the security allowances
on the exe files, but to run the program, when I am again
instructed to login with administrator privileges, even
though i'm logged in on Safe mode as the administrator!

How can I get these to work?

Try these two things,,,,, go to your explorer and find
program files then the parent folder of your game. Next
right click the folder and check the permissions making
sure that admins have FULL CONTROL. if they do then try
this step. Click on run and type regedit BE CAREFUL just
don't change anything yet. open HKLM, then software then
look for your game name folder. Right click the folder and
check the permissions I bet you will find restricted
access there. Change to full control and close and try
again
