Ok, new motherboard and look at the attatched thumbnail:
It's a Gigabyte GA-MA790X-DS4
Is Temp3 just a reference number? Bear in mind that it NEVER changes, always on 84C. Is this normal?

Yeah, it is normal but obviously not right. If Speedfan boots up with this sensor at 84c and it never changes regardless of the other system temps then it must be a phantom reading. Don't worry about it.

SensorsView must be wrong, I've never had such low CPU temps at only 1000RPM of CPU fan. Or is this fan very very good?

Ok Patched but I still can't register it.

I type any serial and name in but it says nothing when I click OK. And in the menu "register" is still there.
Is it even registered?

Sorry I was right. Firstly SViewPro is WRONG!

The program supplied with the motherboard is ALWAYS right.
I only found it today.
And now, look at this, it's preposterous!

Are you sure CoreTemp works with AMD CPUs? Last time I tried it, it said something like "No support for AMD!" and "No C2D (Core 2 Duo) detected!"

Well I am glad someone has said it at last. I for one have given advise and what happens [WTF##K] thats what happens. Had the advise been taken with respect and dignity I would have looked into the problem further and in the end have found a solution for it pretty damn pronto CS???

If your right why you still asking?????????

I was just telling you that speedfan was wrong. And I didn't want to download Coretemp until I was sure that it was compatable because I don't like going through the install process only to find that I have to uninstall it. I know I may have been a jerk in the past but if youre gonna be like that I might as well find a better and nicer forum.
