Hello all,
I 've got this problem when my computer logs into windows. The hard disk
keeps working and working continiously for about 5 minutes making my
computer really slow at that time. I tried disabling windows search service
but the problem is still there.
Anyone can help? Thanks

Solution: dump the Vista Virus and run a dual boot of XP and Ubuntu.
Check out Ubuntu at www.ubuntu.com/

You just don't give up. Preaching to Vista users about Ubuntu who don't
give a Crap about Ubuntu. Just FYI

Top posting corrected:
Another solution is not to listen to idiots like you.

And that will stop his hard drive from spinning needlessly how?

At least you didn't call me a "douche bag" like you normally do when you
have nothing useful to say.

it's Windows Defender that performs a quick scan at windows startup with
daily frequency: set the frequency from dally to once a week from the
program's settings

I would agree with the first comment, try Ubuntu www.ubuntu.com and Dual boot
with XP you'll have much more stability and better utilisation of your
computers resources with these OS's.

Using Vista is such a chore, Microsoft have done such a bad job with this,
it's so shoddy and the interface is simply bad, too many things going on all
at once! If I had released software like this and called it a finished
version I would be ashamed of it.
