When you set up Hotmail in the e-mail program on your PC you may be asked
for the following information:

POP server: pop3.live.com (Port 995)
POP SSL required? Yes
User name: Your Windows Live ID, for example (e-mail address removed)
Password: The password you usually use to sign in to Hotmail or Windows
Live
SMTP server: smtp.live.com (Port 25 or 587)
Authentication required? Yes (this matches your POP username and password)
TLS/SSL required? Yes

Also on the advanced tab set it to leave a copy of messages on the server.

Regarding your website mail, you will need the server information to set up
an account, what is the bit after the @ in that address?

You might consider Windows Live Mail, it will probably suit you better?
Windows Live Mail: http://download.live.com/wlmail

Windows Mail is saying they no longer support the HTTP servers used by
hotmail and other web-based e mail providers so i can't even get past the
2nd section of the e mail set up. Am i doing something worng?

No this some times happens, the trick is to set the account up as a
@live.com account instead of @hotmail.com, to fool it.
Then when the account is set up go back in and change it to @hotmail.com.

I also need my website e mail to go to windows live mail as well. I thought
i had to use windows mail to get it. Can i bring it to windows live mail?

Until you answer the question at the end of my first post we will never
know?

Did you get the hotmail account set up in WM?

My appologies, It is (e-mail address removed),

No i couldn't get it to set up with WM. I was able to use the live part get
through the first few steps. I do already have my hotmail set to windows
live mail though.

I only asked for the bit after the @, I wish you had not posted your full
email address :-(

Unless the host of the website provides mail forwarding or POP access I am
unsure how you would get that mail?

Or is it just a 'Contact Me' link at the website? Change that link to your
hotmail account?

Here is the trick, to set up the account in WM, I had it slightly wrong
earlier.

Start with a new account setup and use (e-mail address removed)
Setup the account with the correct server, port and SSL settings, save
it, ignore errors, then go back and enter the correct email address
and (e-mail address removed) or msn.com or live.com
