Version Of Windows Media Player?

This applies to almost every software program: Go to Help > About.
 
If the Menu Bar (with "File, View, Play, Tools, Help) is not displayed
(which is the default), then click the 'down arrow' on the upper right (next
to the minimize, maximize, close icons).

Now select "Help' in the Menus Bar and click "About Windows Media Player".
