Version (?) conflicts

Question - a customer sent me a PowerPoint 2002 file which had been authored
and saved on an XP system with Service Pack 3. I am using XP with Service
Pack 2 and have both PowerPoint 2000 & 2003 - niether will open the file?

Is this a PPT issue or a Service Pack issue? Thank you.

Sounds as if the file's corrupt. Did you receive it via email? If so, have
the customer zip and resend.

Do you get any messages or weird behavior when you try to open the file?
What exactly happens?

See if you can get the customer to zip the file then resend it.
That'll at least give you a better idea of whether the file's been corrupted in
transfer or not.
