Is there a way in frontpage to track version or revision
of pages that have been changed? Besides that where the
autodate time stamp?

In general, no.

You can, however, install Visual Source Safe on the
Server, and designate the folder that contains your Web as
being under source control. VSS will then keep track of
all versions for you.

For specific details, refer to:

Setting Up Source Control on a Web Server (Visual InterDev
6.0 Reference)
