Hello all,
My brother has been sending videos of his new daughter from his Canon
Digital Camera. These videos come up named MVI_0893. They are pretty large
and he sends them using Usendit.com. The videos download easily, but when I
slide my cursor arrow over the icons (without pushing a button) I get a
slight freeze and then a prompt comes up. It states Data Execution Problem -
M Windows
When I close the message, my entire computer sort of resets and (no programs
shut down). All is well, except I can not run the videos. I have difficulty
even throwing the files away, since I can not touch them.
My digital camera is a Kodak and runs on Quicktime. These videos are fine
when I play them and when I send them to my bro. The videos he sends can be
opened with QUicktime, just as long as I open them using the open file option
in Quicktime. Once opened with QUicktime, I can go to the properties and
click on the option to make them safe. This does not help with the closing
when I touch the icon with the cursor.
Suggestions?
Thanks for the help.
