VBScript code that uses the Outlook object model to fetch calendar

I am looking at a VBScript code that uses the Outlook object model and will
fetch all the appointment data from the exchange server calendar folder and
update a table on the database.

I will then make this a scheduled task to run on a daily basis. Please let
me know if such a script would be possible. Links or tips would be
appreciated.
