VB.NET MapAndLoad alternative

Hi there,

I'm using MapAndLoad in C++ to acquire some information from an
executable, I would like to use this in VB.NET too, although I'm not surfe
how I would do this, is there an API available? Thanks loads in advance.
 
Not to worry, I have come up with a completely different solution.
