Hi
I am getting a few problems with Vista on a Sony laptop. One is IE related
but i'm putting it in this post as i feel it is all interlinked. I thank you
for your time in reading
T5500 processor
2gb ram (should be plenty!) I thought it could be memory related but 2gb!
Ok start with IE. After opening an unspecified amount of tabs, it could be 5
or 15, sometimes it refuses to load the pages at all. I do this a lot when
looking at photos. It sometimes opens the page but I cannot get the right
click menu up, to say save a picture. Normally this happens first before just
refusing to give any more than a white blank page in a new tab.
Then there is just using windows explorer sometimes no files and/or folders
are viewable. Just the lines which seperates the box but none of the info.
Watching videos: often if media player is playing a video, and I open
another one while it is playing then it just crashed WMP. Also sometimes I
get error "com surrogate has stopped working" constantly...
Man i think there are a few more but thats enough for now!
Thanks again
