Quicktime not playing properly in Vista

Guest

I have an HP laptop with Vista Home Premium OS. I have a dual core AMD
processor and 2GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive.

For some reason my quicktimes are not playing properly. Sometimes it plays
properly for a few seconds, then the video starts to lag behind the audio
portion of the quicktime.

Any ideas as to how I can improve the playback quality of Quicktime?

Thanks.

IMHO uninstall QT, and google for quicktimealt181lite, as an addition, do
the same for realalt152lite. These are freeware and work perfectly on my Win
Vista Home Premium (build 6000)

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely
foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Thanks everyone. I heard from another forum that this should be fixed with
the next upgrade of Quicktime (7.1.7). So, I'm going to download
"quicktimealt181lite", wait to test the Quicktime upgrade. If it still isn't
working, then I'll install Delboy's suggestion.

Thanks again.

Itunes installed ? If so, ensure Quicktime is installed for any future Itunes updates under Vista.
