With the command line you can open lots of hidden mcs windows...

Does anyone have a list of them and what they do?

Are you referring to MMC and MSC files? Open a search window and search for files *.MSC. Tell it to search in C:\Windows\System32. You'll get all the MSC files on your computer. Just double click each to see what it gives you access to.

Could you be referring to snap-ins with the .msc (not mcs) extension?

Use XP's search function to search for all files with .msc extensions, i.e.,
search for *.msc

Are you sure you posted to enough newsgroups?

Thank you... Are these all the ones that look like these configuration
windows available on XP pro?
In other words what other hidden configuration tools exist?

Just because you don't know something doesn't mean it's "hidden." If you
want to learn how to configure your operating system there are abundant
resources available, starting with the Help and Support Center.

Hidden means that you have to use the command line for the utility to come
up.
