validation pop-ups

Hi,
How can I change the FP validation error default page to pop-ups to remind
users to fill out all the fields?
Thanks

You can't, use form field validation instead.

I'm quite happy to use it, I'm wondering if I could make changes to the
default page? I just want to add that users click on back instead of the link
back to the form that's already on there. Is there a way?
Thanks

You can not edit the default page. By using Form Field Validation, the user can not submit the form
without meeting all validation requirements.

It just seems such a long route to explain to users on the form page to use
the back button in their browser. I suppose one cannot have it all using only
FP...
thanks for the info

With form field validation, there is no need for a user to have to use the back button, since they
never leave the form, if the data enter doesn't validate.

I must be doing something wrong then, when I click on the submit button and
all the fields aren't filled out, the validation error page doesn't open in a
new window - so to get back to the form, you either have to click on back or
use the link on the error page.

To apply field validation to each and every field, double click the field,
go to field properties, then to Validation.

Apply the options what the user can enter eg min number of characters, alpha
only, numeric only, max number of characters etc etc.

A popup "Alert" box comes up showing the user what is wrong and how to
correct their input. Like "The Name field is required, please enter your
name" or "The phone field allows numeric characters only, please reenter
your phone number".

and so on.

That's my whole point, I don't get the pop-ups, my form opens into the error
validation page (default FP). I didn't add any pages in the Form Properties
and I don't know how to get rid of the validation page. Is there a ways? I've
applied the field validation just as you describe.

There's nothing in the error page field. Should I delete my confirmation page
too? Will the pop-ups start then? I think I'll do the form over from scratch
and leave out the error page from the start. Thanks for all the tips
