Valid Win 32 Application

Whenever i download a program and try to install it, it
gives me and error with it saying this program is not a
valid win 32 application. any help is advised

This is like the 3rd or 4th post so far addressing this issue. First time I
saw it, thought it was just corruption but it seems like a lot more people
are experiencing this. Wonder if there's a new virus.....
