No mate its probs about right. Its a 15k RPM drive very expensive because not many people buy them

S'about right.

Average drive, sata, pata: 7200rpm

Raptor sata drive: 10K rpm

SCSI Drive: 15K rpm

2 x SCSI drives in RAID 0 = s**t off a shovel... ;)

4 x SCSI drives in RAID 0 + RAID 1 = ideal :thumb:

This type of drive is usually used in the Video editing or Audio industry. Thye have an excellent seek time and the speeds make a hell of a diffence while manipulating the media.

If not used there then usually some power hungry, money no object freak ;)
