I cannot exit the XOP Setup on this Gateway machine .

How do I stop this attempt at an install as it fails and
will not let me go anywherre

Gary;
Stopping an install is usually not good as you end up with an
incomplete operating system.
If you are upgrading, you may have components of both but neither
complete.

What exactly is your goal?

If you want to install Windows XP, follow this for a Clean
